Interim Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) Sorin Grindeanu stated on Wednesday that he does not agree with the constant presentation of an „apocalyptic situation.”
„Do you know what I do not agree with? The constant presentation of an apocalyptic situation. If something doesn’t happen, it’s the end of the world. If we don’t do one thing, we fall into junk. You should know that every time, if there is dialogue in a coalition, especially one made up of four parties, better solutions can emerge than the ones you initially thought of. That’s why I’m giving you an example. I said that by the end of the week – and I also told the president at Cotroceni – we will submit this economic recovery package to the coalition, expecting our colleagues to bring improvements, to propose new laws that will lead to this economic recovery, so that together we can implement these policies,” Grindeanu stated at the Palace of Parliament.
He added that a discussion will be carried out on Wednesday with all the PSD ministers regarding the budget revision.
„Until today, at this time, I haven’t received in electronic format – I asked for one single thing: the impacts for each credit authority. I haven’t received them yet. I expect to receive them in the coming period, so that we can also have a proposal,” Grinedeanu mentioned. AGERPRES
