PNL MEP Rareș Bogdan chaired a new meeting of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Iraq. Europe remains a reliable partner for Iraq, and our delegation will continue to promote dialogue and cooperation in the interests of both sides, he says.
- „Today I had the honor to chair another meeting of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Iraq.
The meeting was attended by my distinguished colleague from Sweden Evin Incir, Vice-Chair of the Delegation, His Excellency Ahmed Tahseen Berwari, Ambassador of Iraq to Brussels, and Mrs. Anna Maria Panagiotakopoulou, Coordinator of the Department for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula and Iraq of the European External Action Service.
- It was a very constructive debate in which we discussed both the consolidation and intensification of cooperation between the European Union and Iraq and the current economic and security challenges in the region.
