Data collection on the turnout of the population at the June 9 local and EP elections will be conducted in real time through the Computer System for Monitoring the Turnout and Preventing Illegal Voting (SIMPV), the Central Electoral Office announced in a press release on Tuesday.
„On polling day, the public will be informed about the turnout in real time by posting the number of voters listed in the SIMPV as having turned out to vote, for each poll, on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority – https://prezenta.roaep.ro/ for each polling station,” the BEC said.
On polling day, the following summary information will be posted every hour on the https://prezenta.roaep.ro/ website, for each type of ballot:
– commune/city/municipality/sector and county/municipality Bucharest;
– the number of voters who turned out to vote, broken down by type of ballot, age, gender, rural and urban;
– number of voters who voted on the permanent electoral roll;
– number of voters who voted on supplementary electoral lists;
– the number of voters who voted on copies of supplementary and special electoral rolls;
– the number of voters who voted by special ballot box.
On election day, the BEC will provide the public with summary information on voter turnout at the following times: 10.30; 13:30; 16:30; 19:30 and 22:30.
According to the decision, after the end of the voting and the centralization of all the data recorded in the minutes of the election results in the SIMPV and in the SICPV, the Central Electoral Office will announce to the public the results of the elections of the Romanian members of the European Parliament and the elections of the local public administration authorities.
To this end, the BEC will publish on its website the data entered in the minutes of the polling station for each poll.
