„Next year, the two parties will strengthen their efforts aimed at better capitalizing on mutual investment opportunities, generated by the double energy and digital transition, including the presence of over 6,400 commercial companies running on Cypriot capital in Romania, which places the Republic of Cyprus 4th on the list of foreign investors in our country,” reads the same source.

The two parties also agreed to strengthen collaboration within national and regional university networks, student exchanges and joint tourism promotion actions.

During the consultations, State Secretary Daniela Gitman highlighted the importance of maintaining unity and solidarity at the European level regarding the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, as well as the need for the EU to continue to support Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, its member states and like minded partners.
