Published on

The Chamber of Commerce of Romania (RoCham), based in Singapore, was inaugurated this year by Romanian and Singaporean businessmen.

RoCham was founded in March 2020, but because of the Covid-19 restrictions, the inauguration took place on June 3, 2022, with the participation of the founders, representatives of the Romanian Embassy in Singapore and Enterprise Singapore, the local government agency responsible for entrepreneurial development, as well as numerous other businessmen.

In the new geopolitical context, this initiative has a special significance because it creates the necessary framework for the expansion of business relations between Romania and Singapore as well as other countries in the ASEAN area (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and provides support for business opportunities between Romania and Singapore ; trends and opportunities on the Romanian and international outsourcing market.
