Romania meets 24 recovery, resilience milestones, targets

Published on

Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca said on Wednesday that Romania has so far met 24 targets and milestones under its National Recovery and Resilience Plan, but certain technical aspects still need to be solved for three, according to Agerpres.

„So far, the milestones and targets that we have to meet have been met. Otherwise, Romania could not benefit from the approval of the first payment request. As such, at this moment, the request being approved, it means that we – we also met the milestones and targets for the Q4 2021, Q1 and Q2 2022. At this moment, we have completed the third quarter. I have seen discussions in the public space and I have seen that figures related to the meeting of these milestones have been circulated. I can say with certainty – and the Minister of European Investment and Projects is also here and we discussed this aspect: Romania has met 24 milestones and targets , of which we have three that still have certain technical aspects to be resolved,” Ciuca told a news conference in Alba Iulia.
