Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete on Monday talked about the importance of consolidating and modernising Romania’s emergency healthcare system, mentioning that he will continue to contribute actively to this process.
„Today, on Romanian Ambulance National Day, I am sending my full gratitude to all those who work in the ambulance services. Thank you for the hundreds of days and nights you have been there for the suffering patients in the most difficult moments of their lives. You have chosen a profession that means more than a job – it is a commitment to life, to people. (…) To me, it is essential to support the continuous development of these vital services. I take full responsibility to be with you, not only in words, but also in deeds. I will continue to actively contribute to the consolidation and modernisation of the emergency healthcare system,” Rogobete wrote in a social media post.
A ccording to the minister, each intervention is a fight against time, in which teamwork, balance and communication make the difference between life and death.
