At the same time, the two officials discussed the status and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of defense, especially the presence of US forces in Romania, the programs for the acquisition of military equipment, as well as ways to strengthen the deterrence and defense posture of the North Atlantic Alliance, including the efforts and projects of the allies in Romania,” reads a press release sent on Wednesday by the Ministry of National Defense.
