Romanians abroad will be granted scholarships throughout the calendar year

Scholarships to Romanians abroad will be granted throughout the calendar year, including during the summer holiday, announced Monday, in a press conference, the minister of Education, Ligia Deca, who presented an Ordinance amending the Higher Education Law.

„We have introduced a provision according to which scholarships for Romanians abroad are granted throughout the calendar year, including the summer holiday period. Also, the beneficiaries of these scholarships can receive a performance scholarship or a special scholarship under the same conditions as Romanian students,” minister Deca added.

The minister of Education, Ligia Deca, presented on Monday the changes foreseen in the draft emergency ordinance for the amendment and completion of the Pre-University Education Law no. 198/2023 and the Higher Education Law no. 199/2023.
