Romanians’ exodus abroad would have been preventable by investments in dual education, public health (Ciolacu)

Published on

Had investments been made earlier in dual education and public health services, the exodus of residents from Romania’s eastern region of Moldova to other countries would have been prevented, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said on Friday in Iasi, where he visited the construction site of the future Iasi Regional Emergency Hospital.

The prime minister emphasized that investments of over RON 8.3 billion are currently underway in Iasi County, adding that the net average salary in the area is one thousand euros, which in his opinion shows that Moldova is going in the right direction.
