Romania’s crude oil production in the first 11 months of 2022 stood at over 2.676 million tons of oil equivalent (toe), by 171,900 toe (-6%) less, compared to the same period of 2021, show figures centralized by the National Institute of Statistics (INS), Agerpres informs.
Crude oil imports rose to 8.056 million toe in the first 11 months of 2022, by 1.925 million to higher (31.4%) than those recorded in the same period of the previous year.
According to the estimates of the National Commission for Strategy and Prognosis, the crude production for 2022 is estimated at 3.17 million toe (minus 2.3% compared to 2021) and at 3.095 million toe (minus 2.3%) in 2023. Imports are expected at 7.25 million toe in 2022 (plus 6.4%) and at 7.83 million toe in 2023 (plus 6.5%).
