Romania’s proposal for EU Commissioner to be sent to Brussels on Monday, says prime minister

Prime minister Marcel Ciolacu has announced that he will send Romania’s proposal for EU Commissioner on Monday, September 2.

Asked before the Social Democratic Party (PSD) National Political Council meeting whether he had sent the proposal for EU Commissioner to Brussels, Ciolacu said: „I have spoken to the head of the European Commission. After the party meeting I will go to the Government and send the proposal”.

The prime minister mentioned that he will submit only one proposal for the position.
