Romgaz recorded a total hydrocarbon production of 23.96 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) in the first nine months of this year, 0.61% higher than in the same period last year, of 23.82 million boe, according to a report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The quantity of natural gas extracted, crude, was 23.63 million boe (+0.11%), and condensate production was 331,000 boe (plus 56.89%).
Natural gas from domestic production utilized totaled 3.629 billion cubic meters, up 12.41% compared to the first nine months of 2024.
Electricity production was, in the mentioned period, 480.1 GWh (minus 34.21%).
Natural gas extracted from deposits amounted to 1.249 billion cubic meters (up 25.4%), and injected gas amounted to 2.045 billion cubic meters (up 35.22%).
Romgaz’s main activity segments are geological exploration for the purpose of discovering new gas fields, methane gas production through the exploitation of fields in the company’s portfolio, natural gas supply and distribution, special operations and well services, and electricity production and supply.
The majority shareholder of the company is the Romanian state, with a share capital participation of 70.0071%.
Starting with November 12, 2013, the shares issued by SNGN Romgaz are traded on the regulated market administered by the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
