Roxana Minzatu, PM Ciolacu’s proposal for European commissioner

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu on Monday said he would propose Roxana Minzatu for the post of European commissioner on behalf of Romania.

„We have had several telephone conversations. Now I will go to the Government and I will nominate Roxana Minzatu as the next European commissioner, and I will continue discussions with the president of the European Commission to close the portfolio,” Ciolacu said at the Parliament Palace, after meeting Social Democratic Party (PSD) MPs.
