Russia and China to deepen defense cooperation and joint exercises

Russia and China have agreed to deepen their defense cooperation, with a focus on holding joint exericses, Russian Federation’s Security Council said in Moscow on Monday, according to Reuters, Agerpres read.

„The parties agreed on further military cooperation with an emphasis on joint exercises and patrols, as well as on strengthening contacts between the General Staff”, it is shown in a statement.

China has refrained from condemning Russia’s operation against Ukraine or calling it an „invasion”, while the Kremlin considers the war a „special military operation”.
