Searches in the areas near Ukrainian ports are continuing nationwide to identify possible fragments of downed drones, the National Defence Ministry (MApN) said on Friday.
The investigations of the joint teams, made up of specialists from MApN, the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) and the Interior Ministry (MAI), continue in the vicinity of Plauru, Tulcea county, in the possible areas of incidence still to be investigated.
The Romanian ministry points out that in the last 24 hours, clues have been received about two possible new areas of possible occurrences, located on the Romanian side of the Danube, near Periprava.
MApN maintains that investigations will be carried out according to procedures in these places in the immediate next period.
On Thursday, debris from a Geran1/2 type drone of Russian origin was found near Plauru in Tulcea county.
The National Defence Ministry reiterates that it has informed and is informing in real time the allied structures about the situations generated by the attacks, remaining in permanent contact with them.
MApN also condemns the attacks carried out by the Russian Federation against Ukrainian civilian targets and infrastructure, which are unjustified and in serious contradiction with international law.
