The Senate adopted, on Wednesday, as the decisional legislative body, the bill regulating the conduct of military missions and operations on the territory of the Romanian state during peacetime, when a state of emergency, siege, mobilisation, or war is not declared.

There were 81 votes „in favour,” 12 „against,” and two abstentions.

According to the legislative act, the designated structures of the Romanian Army, depending on operational needs, will be able to be transferred, for determined periods of time, under various levels of authority, in relation to the commander of foreign armed forces conducting a military operation on the territory of the Romanian state.
