Simple motion against IntMin Predoiu gets rejects in the Deputies Chamber

The simple motion filed by the AUR (Alliance for the Union of Romanians) parliamentary group against the minister of interior, Catalin Predoiu, got rejected on Wednesday, in the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies.

As many as 138 deputies voted „in favour” of the simple motion, and 161 were „against”.

In the simple motion, the AUR deputies requested the dismissal of Predoiu from office, as well as an analysis of his activity with a view to initiating criminal proceedings against „for the deeds committed in the exercise of his office.”
