The government approved, in Thursday’s meeting, the technical-economic indicators for the Gura Humorului Bypass (Suceava County), which will be built on a highway profile, announced the Minister of Transport, Sorin Grindeanu.

The total estimated value of the investment, financed through the Transport Program, amounts to 2.31 billion RON (including VAT).

„The construction of the first section on the route of the Northern Motorway (A14) has secured funding! Today (Thursday, ed.n), we approved the technical and economic indicators for the Gura Humorului bypass (Suceava county), which will be built at highway profile. The total estimated value of the investment, financed by PT (Transport Program, ed.n) amounts to 2.31 billion RON (including VAT). This bypass (10.14 km) will be an integral part of the Baia Mare-Suceava high-speed road project and will ensure the connection between the Bistrita-Vatra Dornei and Vatra Dornei-Suceava lots,” the minister wrote on his Facebook page.

The Gura Humorului Bypass option will be built based on a partnership concluded between the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) and the Suceava County Council.
