Students from Bangladesh of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, visit the Romanian Parliament

The PSD deputy Marius Ostaficiuc was the host of promising young people from Bangladesh, students of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, to whom he presented the Palace of Parliament and exposed part of the activity in the Chamber of Deputies.

„Romania must strengthen and expand its external partnerships. Such a partnership can be concluded with Bangladesh, an Asian state with a population of almost 170 million inhabitants, a state that provides not only labor for the European construction and clothing market, but also people with huge potential in various fields of activity”, says the deputy.

„Today I was the host of promising young people from Bangladesh, students of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, to whom I presented the Palace of the Parliament and showed them part of our activity in the Chamber of Deputies. They are just a part of the young people who want to make a difference in Europe, young people who want to acquire the necessary knowledge to help develop their country and for whom Romania is a second home”, Ostaficiuc says.

The PSD deputy states that „Bangladesh is considered the greenest jewel in Asia, a country surrounded by more than 700 rivers, with the longest natural beach in the world, over 120 kilometers, but which does not represent an interest in tourism due to poor infrastructure developed”.

„Bangladesh is also an important location for major clothing brands, where more than 4 million people work in thousands of garment factories producing clothes for the world market. The young students from ASE are only a part of what they can do to help develop their country, and we can support them by initialing agreements on tourism, economy and more”, says Ostaficiuc.

„At the end of our tour, the journalist Iulian Ionescu, a reporter for Ecopolitic and other online publications from Romania, who just returned from an official visit to Bangladesh and who shared with us his experiences in this country, was with us. I was impressed by the story of the young students Inzamul Khan Pranto, respectively Rifat Rayhan Romy and I am glad that I had the opportunity to be their host”, the PSD deputy also wrote.
