The General Directorate for Anti-Fiscal Fraud has launched a series of extensive controls on 103 individuals who obtained income from the production of video content and the preliminary analysis shows that amounts totaling 64.25 million lei were not declared to the tax authorities.
Verifications are carried out by both the central structure and the regional departments.
„According to the data analyzed by ANAF Antifraud inspectors, during the period 2023-2024, the targeted individuals received substantial income from the OnlyFans and LiveJasmine platforms, operated by Fenix International and JWS International. The preliminary analysis shows that these incomes – totaling 64.25 million RON – were not declared to the tax authorities. Following risk assessments, ANAF estimated additional obligations of approximately 7.9 million RON, representing income tax, CAS and CASS related to the undeclared amounts,” an ANAF press release states.
The people checked are both women and men, aged between 20 and 49. The individual incomes identified vary considerably, from 200,000 RON to 3.15 million RON, during the mentioned period.
At the same time, currently, another 384 individuals, video content creators, who have collected income of 280 million RON, are the subject of ANAF’s risk analyses.
The action is part of a series of targeted controls on income obtained from online activities, an expanding field in which fraud and evasion methods are constantly diversifying, the cited source mentions.AGERPRES
