Ten countries attending Interdisciplinarity in Engineering – Inter-Eng 2022 conference

Academic Engineering specialists from ten countries and four continents arte taking part today and tomorrow in the 16th edition of the „Interdisciplinarity in Engineering – Inter-Eng 2022” international conference organised by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of the Targu Mures University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology (UMFST), according to Agerpres.

This year’s edition is organised in partnership with the Academy of Technical Sciences from Romania, McMaster University from Canada and Zagazig University from Egypt and brings together specialists from Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, Canada, Egypt, France, Finland, Morocco, Portugal, Romania or Hungary.

„In this edition of the conference, 76 scientific papers are presented, with the main theme being smart models and systems available to modern production for a future recovery and sustainable technological development, resistant to unexpected and exceptional conditions,” according to UMFST.

The conference includes a number of major other subjects related to industrial and electrical engineering and industrial management, such as advanced manufacturing technology, manufacturing process modelling, automation and robotics in manufacturing, sensing and control, manufacturing system design and operations, biomanufacturing , micro/nano production, unconventional manufacturing processes, sustainable manufacturing, orthopedic biomechanics, information systems technology, smart systems and technologies, medical engineering.

The conference papers are published in the prestigious journal Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, edited by Springer Nature, after being assessed by Clarivate Analytics Web of Science for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index.

Among the participants of the Inter-Eng 2022 conference are Laszlo Kovacs, University of Miskolc (Hungary); Rahman Elfithri, National University of Malaysia; Abdelazim M. Negm, University of Zagazig (Egypt); Ahmad Hably, University of Grenoble Alpes (France); Dan Centea, McMaster University (Canada); Ahmed Hussein Ibrahim, University of Zagazig (Egypt); Bogdan Robu, University of Grenoble (France),and Harri Kiiski, Azomures CEO.
