The Bucharest Stock Exchange opened Thursday’s trading session higher.

Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s session higher on almost all indices, with total turnover worth 16.96 million lei (3.26 million euro) after 40 minutes of trading.

The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, was up 0.13%, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on BVB, posted a similar increase.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, made up of the 25 most liquid securities, gained 0.13%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, rose 0.20%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs was down 0.10%, while BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, rose 0.06%.

According to BVB data, the biggest gains in share value were recorded by Sinteza (+5.08%), BVB (+3.33%) and Premier Energy PLC (+2.79%).

On the other hand, shares of Condmag (-3.28%), One United Properties (-2.96%) and OMV Petrom (-2.84%) were down.
