The state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II takes place on Monday in London. The Queen died September 8 at the age of 96 at her Scottish country estate, Balmoral, according to Agerpres.

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, and the First Lady, Jill, arrived at Westminster Abbey, where they are attending the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II along with hundreds of world leaders, according to EFE.

The day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral marks the culmination of what has been billed as the biggest security operation in British history, according to DPA.

The streets of central London were blocked by emergency security measures and a massive influx of people who wanted to say a final goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II after her state funeral.
