Three-month ROBOR fell on Friday to 5.85%

The three-month ROBOR index, used to calculate the cost of variable-rate consumer loans in lei, fell on Friday to 5.85% per year, from 5.86% in the previous session, according to data published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).

The six-month index, used in calculating interest on variable-rate mortgage loans in lei, remained unchanged at 5.94% per year, while the 12-month ROBOR stayed at 6%.

As for the consumer reference rate (IRCC), regulated by Government Emergency Ordinance 19/2019, it stands at 5.58% per year, being calculated as the arithmetic mean of the daily interest rates on interbank transactions in the fourth quarter of 2025.
