Three Romanian brands are in the top ten most important brands preferred by Romanians, in the FMCG category, shows the data included in the CPS GfK Brand Footprint Europe 2024 Report, published on Wednesday.

According to specialized research, on the podium of this year’s ranking are Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Dr. Oetker, and among the ten positions of the hierarchy there are also three „Made in Romania” brands, namely Borsec (5th place), Boromir (6) and Zuzu (10).

The analysis also shows that half of the brands in the Top 10 managed to increase their buyer base in the last year and, therefore, the value of the CRP (Consumer Reach Points) indicator increased. It is about Pepsi, Dr. Oetker, Chio, Borsec and Boromir. The latter is the only new brand entered among the first ten places, in the 2024 edition of the cited report.

Also, Roshen – the largest chocolate brand in Ukraine – recorded the fastest growth in market coverage among the Top 100 FMCG brands in Romania, being the „Most Rapid Growth Brand” this year.

The GfK consumer panel has been active on the Romanian research market for over 25 years.
