Trade of vehicles, motorcycles seasonally adjusted, up 0.9pct two months into 2025

Wholesale trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, in Romania increased in the first two months of 2025 y-o-y by 0.9%, seasonally adjusted, data with the National Institute of Statistics (INS) show.

Wholesale and retail trade as well as maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 0.9% seasonally adjusted.

On a monthly basis, wholesale and retail trade as well as maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles decreased by 0.5% in February 2025, seasonally adjusted.

Year-on-year, total volume of wholesale and retail trade in as well as maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, increased by 0.1% in February 2025, seasonally adjusted, on a 19.1% increase in trade of parts and accessories for motor vehicles and a 3.7% increase in maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
