The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday’s trading session with mixed results , and the value of registered transactions fell to 33.19 million RON (6.67 million EUR), from 64.25 million RON (12.92 million EUR) the previous day.
The most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, with the value of the exchanges at 4.18 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 3.62 million RON, and those of the Fondul Proprietatea – 2.87 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.01% to 17,327.43 points, while the BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed up 0.01%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers declined 0.02%, while BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies lost 0.63% of its value.
The return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK index gained 0.17%, whilethe sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG closed up 0.07%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, increased by 0.34%.
The biggest increases in share value were recorded by of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+7.28%), UCM Resita (+5.88%) and Simtel Team (+4.94%).
Conversely, the most important decreases in shares were recorded by Promateris (-7.14%), Casa de Bucovina-Club de Munte (-3.85%) and Socep (-3.29%).
