Turnover in market services provided mainly to enterprises, gross series, decreased overall 1.7% in the first eight months of the year, compared to the same period in 2023, mainly due to the decrease in transportation activity, according to data of the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
As a series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, the turnover of market services provided mainly to enterprises dropped 1.1%.
In August 2024, turnover in market services provided mainly to enterprises registered a decline, compared with July 2024, by 5.9% in gross terms and by 0.7% in working-day and seasonally adjusted terms.
