Turnover in motor vehicles trade up 6.7% in 2022. Market services up 26.3%

The volume of turnover in motor vehicles and motorcycles trade increased in 2022, compared to the similar period of 2021, as a gross series by 6.7pct and the volume of turnover in market services provided to the population rose, as a gross series, by 26.3pct, according to the data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Friday, Agerpres informs.

The total volume of turnover in wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, gross series, in December 2022, compared to the previous month, decreased by 11.8pct.

The total volume of turnover in wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, series adjusted according to the number of working days and seasonality, in December 2022, compared to the previous month, remained at the same level .

Regarding the market services provided to the population, gross series, in December 2022, compared to the previous month, the volume of turnover increased by 2.9pct.

The total volume of turnover in wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, gross series, in December 2022, compared to December 2021, increased by 8.1pct.

The total volume of turnover in wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, series adjusted according to the number of working days and seasonality, in December 2022, increased by 15.5pct compared to December 2021.

The activity of market services provided to the population, gross series, in December 2022, recorded a 16.2pct higher turnover compared to December 2021.
