U.S. Embassy looking forward to working with Nicusor Dan and new gov’t on shared priorities

The U.S. diplomatic mission to Romania said on Tuesday that it looks forward to working with Nicusor Dan as President of Romania and with the new government, in order to advance shared priorities such as defense, energy and trade partnerships.

„We look forward to working with Nicusor Dan as President of Romania and with the new government to promote our shared priorities, such as defense, energy and trade partnerships,” the Embassy said in a message on Facebook.

The diplomatic mission expressed gratitude to outgoing ambassador Kathleen Kavalec, who is retiring from the diplomatic career, and announced that Deputy Chief of mission Michael Dickerson will serve as Chargé d’Affaires ad interim.
