“That all the political hacks solemnly declare the situation must be clarified, after which everyone rushes off to a christening or a wedding, because that’s how it’s done—they’re not going to work too hard, neither in the government nor in that Parliament.

Especially since in the government, every minister has limited powers, including the prime minister, namely Bolojan, who remains in charge afterward, as if nothing had happened. Something strange! So who’s going to stay in charge, in the end? Bolo and his gang again, the Laughing Stuntmen? Romania’s gravediggers, Ilie Sărăcie, this guy who’s bled the entire Romanian population dry—the whole nation—with fees, taxes, excise duties, everything? Then, here in Strasbourg, I suddenly have a revelation. Hey, but this European Commission has nothing to say about this whole political crisis in Romania.

It’s just watching the scene from a distance, with incredible detachment, no interventions, no warnings, no corrections. What’s with this diplomatic silence? Something’s not right, and these guys are way too relaxed, as if everything were exactly within the parameters.

Wait, I’ve found the explanation. The Ministry of Interest. What, you didn’t know such a ministry existed? That was a joke—it doesn’t even exist. But let me tell you what the situation is. You know how I’m going to frame this? Every month, we pay a billion euros in interest. One billion euros in interest per month. How much is that, roughly? It could be about 3.5% of GDP. So 3.5% of GDP is roughly the education budget. Look at that, what a revelation, what an epoch-making discovery. That’s what this is all about.

We’re paying for education with interest. So why would the Commission be upset, folks, when it’s the expert in interest and loans on the backs of the countries it supposedly shepherds and directs? Nonsense, it’s all about the money, guys.

Wake up, don’t forget. We’re paying a billion a month in interest because of these political hacks who supposedly led us well. “Bravo, you led us well!”
