Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI), an independent member of the European Parliament, launched a scathing attack on Ilie Bolojan, claiming that the Romanian prime minister is not serving the country’s interests, since he is part of the Brussels-Paris axis.

He does what he does and talks about SEIF. So all the problems in Romania are completely uninteresting… Someone like Bolojan comes along and clings to his seat, but he doesn’t necessarily do so because he wants to do something for the Romanian people—since he hasn’t done anything so far—it would be the height of absurdity to suspect him of such a thing.
