US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived on Monday night to Tuesday in Bucharest, where he will participate in the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the US Embassy announces, according to Agerpres.
In the morning, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit the traveling exhibition „We the People: 25 years of Strategic Partnership”, mounted by the US Embassy in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) and AGERPRES National News Agency and in collaboration with the University of Craiova.
The US official will be received at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace by President Klaus Iohannis at 10:30 am.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is then scheduled to have political consultations with Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu, at the end of which the two will hold a joint press conference at the MAE headquarters.
According to the US Embassy, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will also have a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who is also in Bucharest for the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
