Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Thursday that „very clear” decisions will be made at the Government meeting on measures against sexual abuse and to protect victims.
„I requested last week a set of measures against sexual abuse and to protect victims from Education minister Ligia Deca. I understand that there are a few solutions and today I am trying to clarify them in this meeting, so that Romanians know exactly what decision we are making and this decision should be very clear,” Ciolacu said.
Last week, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu asked the Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, to come up with proposals to supplement and amend the legislation in order to take measures in relation to sexual harassment in the university environment.
Bucharest Police have opened a criminal case against Professor Alfred Bulai for using his position for sexual purposes. According to a journalistic investigation conducted by the Snoop website, Alfred Bulai, a professor at the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA), allegedly sexually harassed several students.
