Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Kherson on Monday, a key city in southern Ukraine recaptured last week from Russian forces, a source from inside the Kyiv presidency told AFP, Agerpres reads.

Zelenskiy walked the streets of the city in military-style attire, accompanied by his armed bodyguards, but not wearing a helmet or bulletproof vest, according to videos posted on social media.

„Glory to Ukraine!”, shouted several locals from the balcony of a block of flats. „Glory to the heroes!” answered, according to tradition, the head of the Ukrainian state and those accompanying him.
