Volodymyr Zelensky: Only Russia could use nuclear weapons in Europe

Published on

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated in his daily message that only Russia is able to use nuclear weapons in Europe, according to Reuters, Agerpres reads.

Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu’s suggestion in telephone discussions with Western counterparts that Ukraine was preparing to use a „dirty bomb” in the current war.

„If someone can use nuclear weapons in this part of Europe, it can only be one source, and this source is the one who ordered Comrade Shoigu to call here and there,” the Kyiv leader said in his video message.

He added that all this „telephone carousel” of Şoigu clearly shows: „Everyone understands everything well. They understand who is the source of everything dirty that can be imagined in this war.”
