We are trying to meet expectations of Romanians in diaspora with new consular reorganisation (PM Ciolacu)

Prime minister Marcel Ciolacu has told representatives of the Romanian community in the United Arab Emirates that the new consular reorganisation planned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aims to meet the expectations of Romanians abroad.

The head of the Executive, together with the team of ministers accompanying him on his visit to the Persian Gulf, met on Wednesday evening in Abu Dhabi with members of the Romanian community in the United Arab Emirates.

„I would like you to come home, especially the experts in the nuclear area, who had a corridor at one time. And the state was not so smart as to foresee these values of Romania that they will leave and migrate from Romania, if the state neglects them. We also have reactors three and four to build. And I am firmly convinced that with the new reorganization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the consular organization, we will move to new headquarters. We are trying to meet your needs,” said Marcel Ciolacu.

In this context, he stressed that Romania’s accelerated development should continue by attracting new funds, because the need for development is entering „a much faster dynamic than everyone expected”.
