Wizz Air suspends flights to Tel Aviv and Amman until September 15

Published on

Wizz Air has suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv, Israel, and to Amman, Jordan, until September 15, the airline announced in a press release on Tuesday.

Wizz Air will also avoid transiting Israeli, Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian airspace until further notice.

This decision follows the recent escalation of the situation in the Middle East.

Wizz Air is committed to minimizing disruption to passengers and will be contacting affected customers (who have booked directly with the airline) directly by email to inform them of their options, including rebooking or having their reservation refunded. Customers who have booked through third parties should contact the suppliers directly, the airline specifies.
