Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday congratulated his wife, Olena Zelenska, on her 45th birthday, thanked her for her support and wished her a quick victory for Ukraine over Russia, EFE reports, Agerpres reads.
„My dear OV (Olena Volodimirivna), I want to thank you. Because you exist. In my life. Because you are here, now. For your trust in Ukraine and in Victory. Because you make me stronger. For all the years, hours, minutes… and once again for THIS year. For the way you represent Ukraine,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
The head of the Ukrainian state also thanked his wife for the two „wonderful children” they have together.
”I wish you ONE thing. May the day of victory of the PEOPLE over the ORCS come soon in your life. In our life… In the life of all people”, he added.
The Unian news agency pointed out that Zelenska has been a real supporter of Zelenski in his political career, despite the fact that, at first, she did not want her husband to run for the presidential election.
On January 25, when the Ukrainian head of state turned 45, Zelenska sent her husband a congratulatory letter in which she emphasized that, despite what happened in the last year, with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, her husband continues to be the same person he met when they were both 17 years old, although „in reality, something has changed, (because) you smile less”.
