Based on the risk profile, a thorough control of the means of transport was carried out, as a result of which the border police discovered, in the cargo compartments, hidden among the transported goods, a total of twenty-eight foreign citizens,” the Territorial Inspectorate of the Oradea Border Police specifies.

The persons in question were taken to the headquarters of the border police sector for investigations. During the checks, it was established that the 28, aged between 21 and 47, had entered our country legally.

The border police have started investigations into the crimes of migrant trafficking for the drivers and attempted fraudulent crossing of the state border for the citizens detected in hiding, and upon their completion, the necessary legal measures will be ordered.
