The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s trading session with most indices on the rise, and 90 minutes into business, the turnover stood at RON 16.63 million (EUR 3.35 million), write Agerpres.

The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, picked up 0.31 percent, while the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares registered a 0.26 percent increase. The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers opened 0.25 percent up, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK advanced 0.39 percent.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies decreased 0.27 percent, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG went up 0.24 percent.

According to BVB, the issuers to see the largest price rise were Prebet (+5.58 percent), Sinteza (+3.13 percent) and Zentiva (+2.73 percent). Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Chimcomplex (-5.26 percent), Turism. Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-3.45 percent) and Bittnet Systems (-1.59 percent).
