Central and local administration officials and energy company represenatatives are attending today the „Energy Plug-in” conference. Among the suggested subjects are the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – fast-paced energy efficiency; green hydrogen; decarbonisation targets; green energy – between potential and investment reality; economic development on the Black Sea platform; sustainability of water, wind, sun, nuclear power production amidst climate change; Romania’s nuclear programme – status and perspectives.

Expected to attend are Minister of Energy Sebastian Burduja; Chairman of the the Romanian Senate’s Committee on Energy, Energy Infrastructure and Mineral Resources Istvan Lorant Antal; senior official with the Ministry of European Investment and Projects Teodora Preoteasa; Chairman of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies’ Committee on Industries and Services Bende Sandor; Chairman of the National Energy Regulatory Authority George Sergiu Niculescu; Head of External Affairs & Strategy, Eurowind Energy Joachim Steenstrup; Electrica General Manager Alexandru Chirita; CEO E.ON Romania Volker Raffel; Romgaz General Manager Razvan Popescu; Azomures General Manager Josh Zacharias; Manager of Romania’s National Energy Dispatcher Transelectrica Virgiliu Ivan.
