OMV Petrom delists from London Stock Exchange

OMV Petrom announces the entry into force of the delisting of GDRs from the standard listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and the cessation of trading of GDRs on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, according to a company report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Thursday, write Agerpres.

„Following the current report dated August 24, 2023, the company hereby announces that: all global depository receipts issued under Regulation S (ISIN: US67102R3049) (Symbol: PETB) and all global depository receipts issued under Rule 144A (ISIN: US67102R2058) (Symbol: PETR) – together, the „GDRs” -, representing ordinary shares of the company with a nominal value of 0.1 lei each (the shares), one GDR representing 150 shares, are, starting today, at 8:00 a.m. (UK time), delisted from the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority, and trading of GDRs on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange has ceased,” the document says.

The decision regarding the approval of the delisting was approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting of OMV Petrom Shareholders on April 26, 2023.

OMV Petrom’s global depositary receipts were admitted to trading on the main market for listed financial instruments of the London Stock Exchange in October 2016.
