The signals received from society clearly show that it is not the best choice for shops to be closed on weekends, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said.
„In conclusion, I would like to close a subject that has generated public debate, that of the opening hours of shops at the weekend. From the signals received from society it is clear that it is not the best choice for shops to be closed on weekends,” said Marcel Ciolacu, on Thursday, during the Government meeting.
In addition, the prime minister pointed out that, at the present time, Romania is no longer in the situation where it was in the pandemic.
„Others closed the markets in the pandemic and put opening hours on the shops, we are no longer at that stage!,” said Ciolacu.
