First check-free flights from Schengen area will land on Sunday at Henri Coanda Airport

The first border check-free flights from the Schengen area that will land on Sunday at Henri Coanda Airport will come from Paris, Vienna, Hamburg, Rome, Zurich, Munich, Amsterdam and Geneva, according to the Bucharest Airports National Corporation (CNAB).

According to the timetable, they will arrive between 00:05hrs and 01:00hrs, EET.

As of March 31, 2024, with Romania’s entry into the Schengen area, checks will be lifted on the air and sea borders, which means that passengers coming from that area by air or by sea will have no additional obligations in terms of checks.

On March 31, Romania and Bulgaria will be part of the Schengen area with air and sea borders.
