PM Marcel Ciolacu says he does not know whether he runs for president of Romania

Published on

PSD president Marcel Ciolacu said on Friday, during a visit to Vaslui County, that he does not know whether he will run for the position of President of Romania.

He stated that he would talk about this after June 10.

„We make politics for Romania, for the Romanians and we make politics first and foremost because God chose us to do this. We must learn the lessons of the past very well, so that we can build a much better future. No I know if I will run for the position of president of Romania. What I know is that now I have a much bigger challenge, that of the prime minister of Romania,” emphasized Marcel Ciolacu.

The prime minister said that the PSD has always brought more maturity to the government, but he mentioned that his party cannot develop Romania alone, it needs some partners, and at this moment the most suitable partners are those from the PNL.
