Romania expresses solidarity with Israel, ForMin Odobescu tells Israeli counterpart Katz

Romania expresses its solidarity with Israel and condemns Iran’s attacks on the country, Foreign Affairs minister Luminita Odobescu said during a discussion with her Israeli counterpart, Israel Katz.

„I had a timely discussion with Israel Katz. We reiterated Romania’s solidarity with Israel and our strong condemnation of Iran’s attack. We also reiterated our commitment to Israel’s security and the importance of avoiding regional escalation of the conflict,” the head of Romanian diplomacy informed on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
