President Iohannis signs decree on accredditation of Steluta Arhire as ambassador to Sri Lanka, Maldive

President Klaus Iohannis on Monday signed the decree on the accreditation of Steluta Arhire as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Romania to the Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka and to the Republic of the Maldives, with her residence in Colombo, informs the Presidential Administration.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Steluta Arhire was Romania’s ambassador to the Slovak Republic over 2016-2021, she was deputy head of mission at the Embassy in Washington (2011 – 2014) and deputy head of mission at the Romanian Mission to Geneva (2006-2008), and also, in 2011, she was charge d’affairs with the Romanian Embassy in Bangkok.
