The United Right is becoming a state of mind (PMP leader)

People’s Movement Party (PMP) chairman Eugen Tomac said Thursday evening in Timisoara that the United Right has begun to become „a state of mind”, the political model that scares those who „govern by lies” and by the tools with which they „blackmail the mayors” of the United Right Alliance.

„The United Right is beginning to become a state of mind, that political model that scares those who govern by lies, by the tools they use to blackmail our mayors, to make files on us, to recruit our local elected officials, to show that only by these communist tactics can they keep themselves in power. June 9 is the day we can turn the tables on them. And we must tell Romanians that if they want the single party to go home, on June 9 they must support the United Right,” said Eugen Tomac, at a rally dedicated to Europe Day.

The PMP leader pointed out in his speech that the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the National Liberal Party (PNL) are borrowing huge amounts of money for Romania every day, only in the last four months indebting each Romanian citizen with almost 1,500 euros.

„The merged left-wing only knows how to borrow in order to waste public money on electoral alms. Through these debts they are stealing our future. We have an obligation to convince Romanians to come out of their comfort zone, because they have someone to vote for. (…) The real liberals are here, in the United Right. June 9 is about the future of Romania. After the European Parliament and local elections, we have the presidential elections. The stakes of the June 9 elections are huge, where Romanians must demonstrate once again their attachment to the European project,” detailed the PMP MEP.

Eugen Tomac said that the only alliance that directly and assertively supports full integration into the European Union is the United Right.

„We will be fully integrated only when joining the Schengen area, the Eurozone, when we are respected because things have fundamentally changed. (…) But it is time to bring the best of the European Union to every Romanian home, and this means modern schools, modern hospitals, European infrastructure, digitised administration, it means stopping the waste of public money. Only the United Right can do this,” said Eugen Tomac.
